Although the below event is not an official GHOSM event it is being lead by Robert Lane, a very good friend of ours. The members of GHOSM will be attending Robert's function to talk about a few of the experiences we have had in Saline and to promote our upcoming presentation at the Saline Library on Sunday, Oct 26, 2008 from 2pm to 4pm. The presentation will be followed by a tour of Oakwood Cemetery lead by Robert and members of GHOSM.

DARK SIDE OF SALINE'S OAKWOOD CEMETERY

Sun 12 Oct 2008

5:00 PM

CITY PARKING LOT #4 off Henry Street, behind Benny's Bakery.

Robert Lane will take us on a walking tour down W. Henry Street toward Oakwood Cemetery. He will lead the group to look at Saline citizens who committed disturbing acts, led lives that were unusual or ended suddenly and are buried in the cemetery. Mr. Lane tells us this is real history. He promises a fun tour, in spite of the dark matter. Attendees who do not want to walk so far should park on Monroe Street and wait for the group to arrive at the cemetery. Everyone is welcome to join this Walk. The event is free.

Meet in the Farmers' Market Parking Lot #4 on W. Henry and S. Ann Arbor in Downtown Saline.

Robert Lane, 429-1254
