THE DEARBORN ANIMAL SHELTER'S 2009 MUTT STRUT

Join Team GHOSM as we walk to raise money for the Dearborn Animal Shelter’s 2009 Mutt Strut event on Saturday, May 16, 2009. The Mutt Strut is a community-wide animal celebration day focusing on a pledge-driven dog walk along a 1.8-mile course. It will take place rain or shine or snow - all weather is dog weather! Registration begins at 9am at Ford Field in Dearborn, Michigan and the walk begins at 12:00pm. The members of GHOSM are long time supporters of the Dearborn Animal Shelter because of the wonderful work they do with animals. The staff and volunteers at the shelter not only offer unwanted and neglected animals food and shelter, they offer them hope and love as well. The above picture is our cat Mannie who we adopted from the Dearborn Animal Shelter in 2002. He is the greatest, most affectionate cat in the world and a very loved member of our family. If the shelter had not taken Mannie in and cared for him until we adopted him we would never have had the opportunity to have this wonderful little guy in our life. Please help us help the shelter to continue the wonderful work they do with animals.

There are two ways you can help Team GHOSM and the Mutt Strut:

You can join our team and walk with us by registering with the shelter and collecting pledges for Team GHOSM: http://www.dearbornmuttstrut.com

You can pledge Team GHOSM and make an online donation: http://www.dearbornmuttstrut.com/dms/participants/participantpage.asp?fundid=903

Thank you, Robin Lemkie and Team GHOSM
