We are a ghost hunting group
based in Michigan whose goal is to search for and record evidence of genuine paranormal

This is Sarah, a
spirit we encountered in a farmhouse built in the 1830s. We felt that
Sarah was the daughter of the original owners of the house and that she
died in her mid thirties. These facts were later verified by our
historian who found Sarahs grave in a cemetery near the old farmhouse.
Sarah was so vivid to us that we asked Darl Papple, an artist friend of
ours, to paint her portrait. We had a meeting with Darl and told him
what Sarah looked like, what she was wearing and the description of the
room where we had encountered her. Darl worked on a rough sketch of
Sarah as we spoke and the group made changes as he drew, to insure Sarah
looked exactly the way we saw her in the old farmhouse. After our
meeting Darl worked on Sarahs portrait at his studio and sent us
pictures of each stage of the painting so we could make any necessary
changes. As you can probably tell from the portrait Sarah was afraid of
us and wanted us to leave her home, and Darl captured her fear
perfectly.

We have posted a new page on the GHOSM site that has nothing to do with ghosts, haunted houses or cemeteries. This page is about animals and animal abuse. The many terrible and unforgivable incidents of animal abuse that have been occurring around the country have affected us deeply, so we would like to share some of our thoughts on the treatment of animals. We realize that this section is not for everyone and for that we apologize, but this is something that is very important to the the members of GHOSM. |
